snappymail - NetLinux Packages

Snappymail is a lightweight, modern webmail client with a clean interface, PGP/GPG support, and fast IMAP performance. This package installs Snappymail as a system package with proper file layout for Debian/Ubuntu servers.

Why this build?

Debian and Ubuntu do not ship Snappymail in their repositories. This package provides:

Proper Debian packaging — installs to /usr/share/snappymail with data at /var/lib/snappymail, managed by apt like any other system package
Upstream 2.38.2 — latest stable release with security fixes and performance improvements over the older Rainloop it replaces
Nginx snippet included — drop-in /etc/nginx/snippets/snappymail.conf for quick deployment behind a reverse proxy
PHP dependency tracking — automatically pulls in the required PHP modules (curl, gd, intl, mbstring, xml, zip, gnupg)
